Compare Lab Tests

LetsGetChecked

Finger-prick kits shipped both ways, processed in their own CLIA-certified lab. The catalog is focused rather than broad — hormones, thyroid, cholesterol and sexual health — so it suits a specific question better than a general check-up.

New York has its own reduced catalogue at /ny-state-tests/ — fewer products, but the same prices where they overlap. New Jersey and Rhode Island availability is not stated on their site.

This site is built to earn affiliate commission, but no vendor link or promo code here currently pays one — every link goes plainly to the vendor's site, and this notice will change when that changes. Commissions never affect the prices shown or the order of results — every table sorts on price, and vendors cannot pay for placement.

Ordering from LetsGetChecked

Who it suits

Someone with one question and a weekday free to answer it. The catalogue is deliberately narrow — hormones, thyroid, cholesterol, sexual health — and the clinical wrapping is the strongest part: LetsGetChecked says it has "a team of board-certified physicians who will review your order and results", and that if a result is abnormal "you may receive a call to discuss your results and next steps". Someone who wants a broad annual panel is better served by an in-lab draw; someone who wants one sensitive test handled privately is the reader this fits.

How ordering works

Kits arrive by post: "All of our home collection kits are delivered free of charge in a plain envelope with no reference to LetsGetChecked visible." You activate before collecting — "activate your kit on the LetsGetChecked App or online at LetsGetChecked.com/activate" — take a fingerprick sample at home, and "Use the pre-paid shipping label to get the sample back to the laboratory for processing." Results land in the online account in about two to five days: "Easy-to-understand results will be available to view from your secure online account in ~2-5 days."

What to watch for

The collection window is the catch, and it is easy to miss until the kit is in your hand. Their blood collection instructions say to "Collect your sample in the morning Monday–Friday and return on the same day", and the testosterone kit adds "Please do not collect or return samples on a Saturday or Sunday" and asks you to collect "in the morning, while fasting". A kit that arrives on a Friday evening waits until Monday. New York is served from a separate, shorter catalogue at /ny-state-tests/ — fourteen tests across sexual health, general wellness and hormones rather than the full range — and LetsGetChecked publishes no explanation of why.

How LetsGetChecked compares

LetsGetChecked sells into 6 of the comparison sets tracked here, against 9 other vendors. Each set below lists the ones nearest on price to LetsGetChecked’s cheapest entry in it — at most four, one panel each — low to high. Same set means the same question, not the same test: two men’s health panels can cover very different markers, so read the counts beside the prices. Every link below goes to another profile on this site; none of them is a tracked link.
