Who it suits

Someone buying the platform as much as the panel. The membership is sold on its own at "$149 per year" with no blood test at all — what it buys is the "Ability to upload past blood results", and "you can upload up to 30 blood result sets per year" — which tells you where InsideTracker thinks its value is. If you want 48 markers and nothing else, this is the dearest way on the site to get them.

How ordering works

"Membership + Ultimate test $489" covers the platform for a year and one draw. The draw itself is deliberately low-friction: "Show up to the blood lab with nothing but a photo ID. Or select 'mobile blood draw' and have a health professional come to you." Then "Once your results are ready (within 7 business days) on the InsideTracker platform, you will receive an email, text message, and/or app notification."

What to watch for

Three things the $489 does not tell you. It is a first-year figure with a tail: "This membership renews annually" and "Membership renews annually at the full price of $149." Five states cannot walk into a lab at all — "Mobile blood draw is required in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii and Arizona", and "For an additional $119, a licensed mobile phlebotomist will arrive at your preferred time and location" — so those five pay $608 in year one rather than $489. And markers you might assume are in a 48-marker panel are not: "Estradiol + Progesterone", "InnerAge" and "DNA Kit" all appear under "Add-ons available at checkout". No refund policy is stated on either product page.
