Someone testing once and taking the numbers to their own doctor is paying for a service they will not use.

The year splits in two: "Your membership includes 100+ biomarkers" at the annual visit, then "60+ lab tests included midway through the year", for "160+ lab tests annually". Draws happen at "2,000+ Quest labs across 48 states", with concierge draws in select areas at extra cost. Fasting is required — "fast for 8 hours before your test" — and results come back fast: "Typically, your first batch of results start arriving within 48 hours of testing."
What to watch for
Nothing is refundable: "Function does not offer refunds for prior payments", and "we don't allow pauses at this time" — you can cancel and rejoin, but the year you have paid for is spent. Two states pay more than the sticker: "Testing in New York and New Jersey can cost more due to state regulations", an amount Function does not publish and says it will explain "during scheduling". Three places cannot buy at all — the 48 states "not yet Rhode Island, Hawai'i, or Puerto Rico". And some members need two appointments rather than one: "members with an active menstrual cycle will need 2 separate visits for accurate hormone results. Members in Arizona also require 2 visits because of state processing rules." The MRI and CT scans in the marketing are add-ons, not membership.
